Aezadun

Dwarves worship a pantheon called the Aezadun, a group of gods associated with the thirty True Runes (the foundation of many languages) and with the elements of the universe. Not all of the thirty runes are represented by the Aezadun; others are tied to gods that no “honest” dwarf prays to, such as the wicked Umakkti (the evil gods of dwarvenkind) and the dangerous Drakkadunni (the dragon-gods of creation and destruction). The heads of the dwarven pantheon are Vanathor and Aubradi, the patriarch and matriarch respectively of the dwarven gods and thereby of all dwarves. Dwarven worship is quite ritualistic, and priests maintain an especial position of honor in dwarf culture — they are the keepers of knowledge lost to other races, and thus among the wisest of all mortals.
