The Amiroso are a diplomatic house, not unlike the Iluni. They are patrons of the arts, and do a thriving trade in discovering new artists and brokering their work. House Amiroso trains its scions in diplomacy and elegance, aiming to maintain their position at the peak of social prestige. An Amiroso ball is a splendid affair by any metric, certain to draw gossip for weeks, even months both before and after.
With diplomacy as their stock in trade, the Amiroso strive for sound relations with all the other Great Houses, with one exception. They are natural competitors to the Iluni, who aim for many of the same goals. Few things can showcase the art of the polite character assassination quite like a conversation between esteemed Amiroso and Iluni rivals — save perhaps the rare and terrifying moments when an Amiroso and Iluni decide to link their efforts against a third, even less desirable party.
The Amiroso favor red and/or white garments, to match the roses in their heraldry. Their house pin shows two intertwined roses wrapped by a winding ribbon. The House seat of the Amiroso is a palazzo in Raspian City, at the heart of the nation’s intrigue.
