Thanks to good fortune in building a sea trade empire, the Pulsciri have risen over the years to full Great House status. Their reputation is somewhat crude — the men and women of House Avicca in particular are prone to call them “jumped-up fishmongers” — but this only fans the flames of the Pulsciri ambition. They trade often with nations along the eastern coast of the continent, funneling part of the money into mercantile expansion and part into lavish parties and patronage of the arts as an attempt to prove themselves truly elite.
The Pulsciri fly colors of blue, green and gold; their house pin depicts a leaping fish over two crossed tridents. Their house seat rests on the shoreside of Cinquedea, across town from their most bitter Avicci rivals.
