Zamalla

Zamalla, Queen of Knives, Firstslayer, claims murderers, assassins and the gold-greedy as her worshippers. The scorpion-blooded goddess of murder, avarice, hatred and spite, she claims a secretive, insular and fanatical sect of followers. She often appears as an athletic, veiled woman clad all in black, her bare feet stained with blood. Her symbol is a curved dagger surrounded by drops of blood.

In Rasenna, Zamalla is a patron of ruthless deals and assassination. Her worshippers include merchants who wish to escape the shackles of regulated trade, those who prefer to settle grudges with a blade in the back, and those who wish to see the downfall of hated rivals but do not have enough provocation to declare vendetta (or drift to Namaluk). Her priests and murder-cults (including the Red Tithe) preach that wealth gained in her name is wealth that can be used upon death to purchase a finer place in her shadowy afterlife. This is one of the reasons that Zamallan devotees are so dedicated to their avarice — nobody wants to descend to Hell, attempt to purchase a place free of torment, and discover they are a single coin short.
